Questions about our CD repair service

Can all CDs be repaired?
No. If the data layer of the disc is damaged it can not be repaired. If you hold up your CD to a light source and the light shines through a scratch or hole, the data layer is damaged.

Can you repair DVDs, X-Box and Playstation games?
Yes. We currently can repair all these types of optical disc. We can test CDs and DVDs after completing the repair, but can not test game discs.

Will I be charged if my disc can not be repaired?
We will review each disc prior to attempting to repair it. If we don't think your disc can be fixed, we will refund payment for that disc. If we attempt to repair it, you will be changed for that repair.

How are discs repaired and tested?
Please check out our repair page for all the details on disc repair

Do you test all discs after repairing them?
Yes. As part of our repair service, we test every disc after repair. We will give you a report of any errors found in any of your discs. This allows you to sell your repaired discs in complete confidence.

How much do you charge for disc repair?
Our fees vary depending on the number of discs you send for repair, what type of return shipping you choose, and any additional services you request. Please view the fee structure on our repair page. You will also find a handy fee calculator you can use to figure the total cost of your order.

How do I pay for your service?
You can use our order page to figure up the total for your order. That page can be used to send payment by PayPal, or you can send check or money order to:

JMJ Enterprises

How long before I receive my repaired discs?
Most repair orders will be complete within a week of us receiving them. Large orders may take a little longer. We will inform you if your order will take longer than usual.

How do I ship my discs to you?
Please pack your discs securely to prevent damage during shipment, but send your discs without cases or inserts. We will return the discs to you packed in individual sleeves to prevent damage during the return shipment.

What if you lose or damage my discs?
We have never lost a disc. On very rare occasions our disc repair machine may damage a disc during repair. This happens less than once in every 1000 repairs. If this happens to one of your discs, we will reimburse you for the value of the disc up to $10.
